Greenside Golf was founded by golfers who were passionate about creating better lightweight equipment for walking players. The company is currently owned and operated by two Irish golf enthusiasts, Bill Brannigan and his son-in-law Bobby O'Byrne, who purchased the business in early 2022 after being impressed with the product quality.

Located in upstate New York, the company operates under the motto 'By Golfers, For Golfers' and focuses exclusively on developing lightweight golf bags and push carts. O'Byrne moved to Kentucky from Ireland 15 years ago, bringing international perspective to their American-based operations.

Their mission is to bring pro-quality golf gear and revolutionary value to golfers of all skill levels, from high handicappers to scratch athletes.
